Questions about this webinar
Does Medicare cover flu shots?
Yes. Medicare Part B covers a flu shot once per flu season at no cost to you when the provider accepts Medicare assignment.
What is the difference between inpatient and observation status?
Observation is an outpatient service even if you stay overnight in a hospital bed. It matters because a skilled nursing facility stay is only covered after a qualifying three-day inpatient admission, and costs are billed differently.
Does Medicare cover me when I travel?
Original Medicare generally does not cover health care outside the United States, with narrow exceptions. Some Medicare Supplement plans include foreign travel emergency coverage. Medicare Advantage and Medigap rules vary, so review before you travel.
Does Medicare cover dental, vision and hearing?
Original Medicare does not cover routine dental, eye exams for glasses or hearing aids. Some Medicare Advantage plans include these extras, and separate dental and vision plans are also available.
Is the Top 10 Medicare webinar free?
Yes. The 60-minute session is free, educational and carries no obligation.
